/the mysterious boy (?) <3!
Prologue:
With regards about my previous post, I would like to apologise if I had been harsh in my comments.
Please take this following post with a pinch of salt (:
One:
I read this particular post a few days back, and it got me thinking.
Two:
Since this is the owner's blog, I understand that he has the liberty to post as he wish.
However, I thought otherwise of his, in my words, 'ignorant' opinion.
Three:
Why, you may ask.
In his post, he 'assumed' that our people do not support the local musicians and their art.
So, my question is, does he?
A remorse?
Four Part One:
We are describe as a 'little red dot', having gain independence four decades back, thus making us a young country. Aye?
Everything starts from scratch.
We all have great dreams, and in order to achieve we have to start someplace; somewhere, no?
Hence, does inspired musicians creating pieces for initially no one to appreciate equates to making them useless to our industry for their lack of contribution? Have you ever wondered that maybe their talent has yet to be discovered or perhaps it's not the right time to fulfill their wishes? What if they face certain obstacles, for instance, financially and morally?
Four Part Two:
Does anyone who buys an instrument MUST have sold multi-platinum albums before his death?
Five:
Talking about being the next big thing with your 'big talk' not giving back to your roots?
I like to ask, you aspire to be akin to your icon, but homebound, or bred thousands of oceans away?
Your art, a taste of our unique culture or just another similar sounding billboard hit?
Epilogue:
I, like him, am merely stating my personal opinion.
Thank you (:
